Gasparilla Fans, Can You Find the Booty in Time or Will You Walk the Plank?
Press Release January 25, 2017
Did you know that the media has been in a frenzy lately, reporting on the latest antics from America’s self-made billionaire, prankster, and eccentric philanthropist, John Buckingham? Buckingham, who has been known to share his wealth with outrageous publicity stunts (like renting a balloon and dropping millions in his own money over Curtis Hixon park in Tampa), has lately taken to dressing, acting, and talking like a pirate. In a recent press release, Buckingham claims to have hidden “possibly the most valuable treasure ever”, in an old clipper ship that he has permanently docked near his gulf side mansion. Residents have flocked to take a turn at discerning the secrets to Buckingham’s billons, but so far none have succeeded.
Just in time for Gasparilla, you and your crew will have 60 minutes to search for the elusive treasure in our Pirate Plunder themed escape room.
While it might look like any other ordinary room, it’s actually a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-workers or strangers.
Local Bariatric Surgeon Tiffany Jessee-Wylie opened the new interactive entertainment concept Make a Break Escape, located in Largo, Florida. If you enjoy puzzles, teamwork and working under pressure, then the real-life escape room is going to make your shortlist of favorite activities. It sounds like an odd concept…you pay someone to lock you in a room for an hour while you try to solve a series of challenges, riddles and puzzles to get back out again. Our players not only have fun in the heat of the game…it seems like there’s a rush of excitement every time you hear a padlock click open or unearth a key…but also afterwards when you commiserate with your partners on all of your challenges and defeats.
As part of the Gasparilla celebration we are offering Buy 1 Get 1 for the Pirate Plunder escape room. Use the code: PIRATE at checkout. BUY NOW!
